The Providence Group Dedicates Covered Bridge at Woodbridge Crossing to Smyrna Mayor Max Bacon Ribbon cutting ceremony held Tuesday, March 25
April 2008 - More than 200 guests joined The Providence Group as the new home builder dedicated the covered bridge at Woodbridge Crossing to Smyrna Mayor Max Bacon on Tuesday, March 25th. The Providence Group hosts successful event at the Highlands of Sandy Springs

April 2008 - More than 100 guests attended the recent event at the Highland of Sandy Springs, a gated community extremely close to the Perimeter Mall area. The event celebrated the opening of the community’s two decorated model homes and the newly decorated clubhouse.

2009 Teacher Of The Year Finalists Named
March 2008 – State Superintendent of Schools Kathy Cox announced the 10 finalists for 2009 Georgia Teacher of the Year at today's State Board of Education Meeting.


The finalists were chosen from a pool of 141 applicants that were selected as the Teachers of the Year in their school districts. The applications were read by a panel of judges that included teachers -- including past Georgia winners and finalists -- administrators, community leaders and others. The 10 finalists were chosen based on the scores of the essays on their applications.
